Wow! Where do I begin? Let's start with the designer --Thakoon Panichgul is amazing! Thakoon's eye for art, fashion, detail and design capture the essence of an innovative designer. Born in Thailand and raised in the States, Thakoon draws inspiration from all realms of the world and showcases this consistently in his work. His eclectic, impeccably tailored, colorful and innovative creations have graced the frames of Sarah Jessica Parker and most notably, First Lady Michelle Obama. 

Thakoon's talent and flawless execution is magnified in his Resort 2013 and Addition collections. The color scheme, mixing of prints, and geometric patterns all fuse to make beautiful pieces. While Resort 2013 gives us romance, illuminated patterns and a softer color palette , Thakoon's Addition collection offers edge, fierceness, movement and bold prints all capsuled into one. If this is what 2013 is looking like, I'm most certainly anticipating the new year. Enjoy:)

Editorial: Solange celebrates color, prints and patterns in Glamour France

 Honestly there are not too many words that can describe this editorial; simply put --it is pure genius. The color palette in each look  blends effortlessly. And the prints and patterns? I'm in awe. The mixing with the cheetah shorts and Burberry trench in the second look is incredible and like every other shot that accompanies this editorial; it captures the essence of being creative, experimenting with color and never being afraid to mix it up.
